It's Magic

One of the problems with our DirecTV DVRs is the danger of filling them up with Katie and Julie's favorite programs which they then stop watching. As a result, we've gotten fairly ruthless about deleting whole series (that are not Phineas and Ferb). This proved to be a problem tonight, because we had cleaned out all of the episodes of The Magic School Bus which Katie really wanted to watch. Well, no problem. We'd record some more

Except that it's no longer on the schedule. Oops!

I poked my tablet looking for info and suddenly realized that the solution was right there on my TV. I typed the program name into the search screen, picked You Tube, and there was a fine selection of episodes.

Katie was very happy.
