The Cardinals are in the playoffs as the Dodgers lost tonight to the Giants, giving the Cards a two game lead with one game left.

This only guarantees the Cards a chance to play one more game, but it's better than a great many of the alternatives.

I would much rather have the Cardinals starting Shelby Miller today in a "meaningless" game.

The Jays however are out. No hockey and no more baseball. It's a good job I have school to keep me busy.
