Grimly Determined

The Grim Roper is my first real mixing project in Cubase, although I'm still using the d8b for the actual summing engine, because that gives me access to the outboard reverbs that I still want to use. It's being a learning experience. A good learning experience, but definitely learning. :)

There's a tremendous amount of horsepower in the Cubase plugins that I'm working with and they're correcting (I think) for a multitude of sins. Of course, the proof of the pudding will be when I take it out of the studio for critical listening.

And then we'll see what I've got.

I know I'm going to have to go back and remix some of the earlier tracks to reflect what I'm doing on the more recently mixed ones, but I only have three more of the old tracks to mix (one of which I still have to transfer from ADAT and then decide if it needs to be re-recorded) and the one bonus track to record and mix.

So progress is being made.
