Kettle

Today was Katie's last day of kindergarten, so both girls are now out of school and on summer vacation. To celebrate, we went out to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner tonight.

On the way home, we stopped at Home Depot and I picked up the Weber Kettle that I've been eyeing to replace my Patio Classic that has reached end of life. (Sadly, because I think it's a much better designed grill than the Weber.) daisy_knotwise and I assembled it tonight using a hammer and my trusty Stanley ratchet screwdriver and it's now sitting in the living room waiting for its first use.

The Patio Classic will go out to the curb tomorrow afternoon so that the metal scavengers will pick it up and take it away before the garbage is collected tomorrow morning.

Ah, well.
