It Was a Day

The tummy bug bit Julie last night, so she did not go to school today. Katie, on the other hand, started out yesterday feeling lousy with her head cold, but was animated enough by bedtime that daisy_knotwise swore that she was going to school today. And she did. And was fine.

Work was one long fire drill, interspersed with meetings. I think that I've successfully put out all of the fires and can go back to what I intended to be working on. :)

This evening was the Terrace School Bowling Night. We had signed up for it and Julie was feeling substantially better, so we decided to give it a try. The bowling was a success, although if there were any more oil on the lanes, I could have stripped it off and made a fortune selling it to a refinery.

Letting Julie buy a fudgsicle, not so much. This caused the tummy bug to erupt again when we got home.

Julie has now crawled off into bed. Katie is determined to stay up and watch TV.

Gretchen and I are going to bed. :)
