A Blustery Day

The weather changed abruptly today as the temperature dropped and the wind grew strong. This helped complicate Uncle Jeff and Aunt Carol's flight into Chicago, but they made it to our house late this afternoon and had a fine time chatting, hugging little girls, and playing with Ruby the Dog.

Katie, a day after her birthday, was very happy to see them. (So was Julie, but Katie was especially pleased that they'd made it into town this close to her birthday. :) )
