The Advantage of a Large Strike Zone

When the umpire has a really big strike zone, games can proceed much more quickly. As a result, we're home early from today's Cubs 2-1 win over the Phillies. Complete games were pitched by Zambrano for the Cubs and Myers for the Phillies. The only runs came on three solo home runs.

The hitters weren't thrilled, of course.
