School's Out For Summer

Today was the last day of school. Katie has officially graduated from Terrace; Julie will be a fifth grader next year. Following this:

  • Katie's softball team won 11-7.
  • Julie went with Mom to the swimming pool.
  • Katie wrangled an impromptu sleepover at a friend's house.
  • We have agreed to let Julie watch TV in the living room until she falls asleep.
  • Mom has gone to bed and plans to wake up sometime in the year 2419 A.D.
  • And I intend to join her after making this post.
  • Except that I have to work tomorrow, so I will be getting up.
  • This seems fair.
