No Softball Today

The tournament was supposed to finish up today. The weather had other ideas.

A massive line of thunderstorms came through at about 5:30 AM and flooded the fields. At first, the organizers thought that they could start play with a two hour delay, but it quickly became apparent that wasn't going to be enough to dry things out and the remaining games were canceled.

This made for a much more relaxed day, but it's really a shame, as the girls were playing well together and it would have been interesting to see how far they could go.

And *this* time, Katie's softball season is really over. Time to pack up the gear. :)
