Waiting for TV Fall

While we wait for the new fall season of television to show up, Gretchen and I have been digging through other things that we haven't seen for one reason or another. This is made more necessary by our previous DVRs all having left the building to go back to DirecTV.

(This reminds me: anyone local who could use three DirecTV remotes of recent vintage, one of which is still new in its wrapper? We would be happy to pass them along to someone who could use them. I kept having to buy replacements, because the things just wear out...)

But we have now watched the entirety of the final season of "Enterprise", which was a lot of fun. I'd seen it described as a "love letter to TOS fans" and that was pretty much true. We were also greatly amused when Seth McFarlane showed up in a two-part episode. Obviously, he's been promoted since then.

We are now working our way through the first season of "The Flash". We were told that we would probably enjoy it and this is turning out to be true. The problem with watching it on Netflix is that there are no commercials where I can explain to Gretchen where *this* particular character came from...

Meanwhile, new network TV in about ten days.
