Happy New Year

Today was a bit more disrupted than it might have been, as we needed to squeeze Gretchen's van in for a quick oil change and wiper replacement, the wiper having imploded upon being confronted with the ice on the windshield. But we got it done, courtesy of the local Meineke, and I was then able to head off in my car and hit Sam's Club and Mariano's to lay in necessary supplies, including a bottle of champagne for Gretchen.

It's been a relaxed affair here. Gretchen and I have been binge watching Zoey. I started a fire in the fireplace and K and J made smores.

All things considered, quiet is good.

Tomorrow, I will start ramping up towards frantic to finish all of the things that aren't done.

But that won't be until next year. :)

Happy New Year everyone!
