Glub, Glub, Glub

A round of violent thunderstorms swept through town shortly before I arrived home for dinner with daisy_knotwise and catalana. After dinner, I dropped Gretchen off and took Erica down to the train station as lightning crackled through the sky. I dropped her off at Union Station where it was, for the moment, not raining, but by the time I got about a mile from home on my return trip, the skies had opened up.

Now we have flash-flood warnings and the like all over the area.

On the other hand, Erica is dry, so it seems her timing is improving. Unless something happens on the train on the way back to Champaign...
