It must be Spring

Last night, a line of thunderstorms came rolling through town and knocked out the power to our little street of eighteen homes. We lit some candles, I hauled out the guitar, Gretchen grabbed her Laptop drum, and we spent some time making music.

After about an hour, we went out to get some ice cream. By the time we returned, the power was back on.

I had thought we might be out for a long time, but it turned out that the other place that had lost power in the same incident was our local fire station. This, no doubt, improved the response time. :)
