The Sanitation Engineer Report

The recycling folks came by early this morning and picked up the vast majority of our trash, including the dead light fixture and electronics. (Or else scavengers got those. Either way, that's better than in the landfill.)

But the garbage sat. And sat. And sat. Until about 5 PM, when two garbage trucks came rolling up the street, one of which grabbed our trash and the neighbors, the other of which handled the rest of the street.

I wonder what we can find to throw away next week!
