It's Magic!

I've now managed to place a link from our document's data into a cell in Excel and watch it update when our data changes. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to reattach the link after the files are closed and reopened. I suspect that this is a moniker problem, but that's a pretty naive suspicion on my part. ;)

I don't suppose that anyone knows of any good references on the MFC implementation of OLE2 linking? It's too early for there to be a lot of web pages to Google and I've found many unanswered questions by searching through the Google interface to the Usenet newsgroups. Apparently, I'm not the only person who has been confused by all this.
