I got home to be told by
daisy_knotwise that the Internet was down. So I've come down to the basement, powered down and powered up the DSL modem and router, and I see by the LiveJournal on my screen that this has done the trick.
I
may still have to reboot the wireless hub upstairs, but we'll check that out in a minute.
