Very interesting, especially since yesterday I read the part of the new Steve Goodman biography that discussed his only appearance on the Tonight show, when David Letterman was filling in for Carson and Jay Leno was one of the other guests. Goodman was given two minutes at the end of the show to squeeze in the four minute song he planned to sing ("Men Who Love Women Who Love Men").
