One Breath of Spring

It's finally warmed up over the 70 degree mark here in Chicago, attached to a bright, sunshiny (if slightly breezy) day. Since this is the warmest it's been since last October, there is much rejoicing.

Yesterday, daisy_knotwise gave me the night off to go to the Cubs first night game -- where they gave away knitted caps to keep your head warm that were fortunately unnecessary! The Cubs won 9 to 5 in an entertaining contest that featured the return of former Cubs manager Dusty Baker as the manager of the visiting Reds.

Watching his handling of the Reds bullpen reminded me of why he's the former Cubs manager. :)
