Tonight, we headed out to Sweet Baby Ray's for dinner. Katie ran out into the front yard followed by Julie as we were attempting -- at first unsuccessfully -- to get the girls into the van. Katie looked up in the sky, saw the Moon, and said "There's the Moon!"
Julie proceeded to point at it, saying "Moon! Moon! Moon!" I corralled her and got her into her car seat, then went back to fetch Katie. She backpedaled in the direction of the Moon up in the sky. "Where are you going?" I asked.
"I'm going to the Moon!"
Not right then she wasn't. I grabbed her and put her in her car seat.
As it happened, the Moon was visible out Julie's window on the way to the restaurant. And she spent the entire ride (when we were aimed in the right direction) pointing out the van window. "Moon! Moon! Moon!"
Katie was really annoyed that she couldn't see the Moon from her car seat.
But she could on the way home. :)
