Patio Furniture

Now that we have the new and larger patio, daisy_knotwise and I went out looking for end-of-season sales on patio furniture, as we wanted to get a dining table and chairs to put on the extension. This will let us eat outside on nice summer nights.

We found something appropriate and reasonably priced at F.I.M. in Arlington Heights. It was a bit of a challenge, as Katie was more interested in the giant inflatable Halloween Tigger at the front of the store than she was in any of the furniture. Then she discovered the well-worn bamboo gazebo in the outdoor section of the store which she declared to be a "treehouse". Ok. At least it kept her busy while I finished the transaction. The table and cushions are at home now. Gretchen's gone back to pick up the chairs.

And tonight, we'll grill some steaks and try it out. :)

(It may be the last really nice evening for a while. It's supposed to turn cold shortly.)
