The Computer Update

Sadly (or happily, depending on your point of view), unplugging the hard disks did nothing to help the situation with catalana's computer. I checked all of the power connectors, but they seemed to be fine.

So I had a spare video card. It was now time to see what happened if I put it in the machine.

And the machine got better.

Now this is really annoying, because the video card is a five-star, gold-plated, high-frame-rate, gaming monster video card. But it is not a happy camper.

The video card that I put in was a high-end card about three years ago. So it's only a little obsolete. :)

But the computer is working, so I'm going to declare victory.
