Shhh!

We took Katie and Julie out to the pumpkin patch in Hampshire today. This was quite a trip, but the girls had a good time, feeding the animals at the petting zoo, riding the ponies, and running through the mazes and on all of the kiddie climbing structures, including a pirate ship.

On the way home, I stopped to pick up a new monitor to replace the one down in the studio that had decided to become flaky. As long as I was downstairs, I figured I'd pull up the new version of WaveLab and see what I could do with it.

I had noticed when I was reading about the upgrade on line that they'd included a new Sonnox noise reduction system. So I figured I'd give it a try to knock out some of the hiss and air conditioner noise that I'd been dealing with on Walkabout.

Oh, that's so much better. And better than the surgical editing that I had been doing with the Spectrum Editor in the previous version of WaveLab.

This was $99 well spent. :)
