It was just four years ago that daisy_knotwise and I celebrated our first Thanksgiving with Katie. And now we've had our third Thanksgiving with Katie and Julie. It's an experience. :)

The recipe for cornbread pecan stuffing that we've used for some years vanished in a puff of smoke somewhere. I went trolling on the Internet for another recipe and found this one which was substantially more successful than the one that we'd been using. Yum!

So dinner was turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn pudding, applesauce, and rolls. Dessert was pecan pie and custard, either vanilla or pumpkin pecan according to taste.

I am now really full. :)

And really thankful.
