Step By Step, The Longest March...

The code rewrite that I'm doing at work now has in excess of 1600 compile errors. To some extent, this is good, because it means that the compiler is finding my problems for me.

However, it is bad, because it takes a lot of time to fix 1600+ compile errors, no matter how trivial they are.
